We Are Transforming Musculoskeletal Care
At SimpleTherapy we have gathered leading clinicians, surgeons, scientists and technologists to transform Musculoskeletal care.
Musculoskeletal Pain
Billions of dollars are dedicated to alleviating musculoskeletal pain, the second most frequent reason for doctor visits each year.
With the number of aging Americans doubling by 2030, and demographic trends pointing to Baby Boomer golden years filled with joint, muscle, tendon, and ligament deterioration, the current astronomical spend is forecasted to escalate.
Our philosophies on how to best alleviate cost burdens abound.

The peer-reviewed medical literature supporting exercise therapy spans hundreds of publications over decades of research. Therapeutic exercise has the highest-level endorsement by leading clinician groups including the American Physical Therapy Association, American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and the American Medical Association.
Exercise therapy has been studied in many peer-reviewed journals, including:
- Journal of American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons
- Journal of Physical Therapy
- Journal of Rheumatology
- Journal of the American Geriatrics Society
- Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery
- Journal of Epidemiology
- American Journal of Sports Medicine
From knee arthritis to lower back pain to rotator cuff problems, exercise therapy is mainstay of treatment in modern musculoskeletal care. However, we do know that without regular feedback from patient, exercise therapy is often applied incorrectly or abandoned prior to the patient experiencing a benefit. Physicians and physical therapists don't have the time to provide proper coaching for home exercise regimens in our current healthcare system. SimpleTherapy fills that gap.
It is important to note that some people, such as those who have recently had a fracture of surgery, will benefit from hands-on care under the direct supervision of a physical therapist. But for many of us with aches and pains, SimpleTherapy can help significantly reduce discomfort.
