Does Stretching Prevent Injury in Exercise?

December 2, 2014

The Wall Street Journal poses this inquiry “Does Stretching Prevent Injury?” and concludes that stretching increases flexibility and improves reaction in the daily “Burning Question.”

One key point in the article stands out to SimpleTherapy: “Because individual stretches are so person-specific, there is no definitive data as to which exercises are best for which body types or workouts.”

We at SimpleTherapy are setting out to change this… We base our exercise recommendations on each individual user’s questionnaire inputs and feedback. We’re already growing the definitive data set!
